This statement adds to the User Agreement and sets out the limits to keep in mind when using Banshao and the content of its website.
1. Not legal advice
The content of this website, including the User Agreement, the Privacy Policy, the employee notice template and any mention of law, is general information only. It is not legal, tax or human resources advice, and it does not mean your use complies with any law. The operator of the Banshao service is not a law firm. Before recording employees, please consult a professional who knows your local law.
2. Accuracy of records
Banshao's records reflect what the app could observe, which is not necessarily the work actually done. For example:
- Hours depend on whether the employee clicked clock-in and clock-out. If the connection signal stops for a long time the shift ends automatically, timed at the last signal.
- Idle time counts only the keyboard and mouse. Reading, meetings, phone calls or work away from the computer can all show as idle.
- A screenshot shows one screen at one moment, not other screens or what happens between captures. A locked screen, system permissions or network problems can leave gaps; while offline at most 200 are kept and the oldest are dropped.
- Window titles come from the operating system and may be empty, cut short or misleading.
- An IP address only reflects a network connection. It does not prove where a person is.
3. Not a sole basis for decisions
Banshao's records must not be the sole basis for hiring, dismissal, discipline, pay deductions or other decisions affecting a person. Before such a decision the company should check the records against other information, give the person a chance to explain and follow the applicable law. Hours in reports should also be checked before they are used for pay.
4. No guarantee
We do not guarantee that the service is uninterrupted, error-free or meets all your needs, that using it will improve productivity or bring any result, or that the app runs on every device and system version. See “No warranty” and “Limit of liability” in the User Agreement for the full terms.
5. Comparison prices and third-party references
Prices, feature comparisons of other products and third-party names on the website are for information only and may be out of date or incomplete; rely on what those parties publish themselves. Mentioning a third party does not mean it is affiliated with or endorses us, and names and trademarks belong to their owners. Links to third-party sites are for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
6. Crypto payment risks
The service takes payment in USDT (TRC-20). Blockchain transfers are irreversible, and money sent to the wrong address or network or in the wrong amount may not be recoverable. Stablecoins can move away from their target price; issuers, networks or wallets can fail or be restricted; network fees and confirmation times can change. Crypto assets are restricted in some places, and checking your local rules is your responsibility. We only accept this payment method and give no investment or financial advice.
